If you only have half a day to discover it, you can create your own tour by choosing two of the most famous food products of the food valley: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Parma ham and traditional balsamic vinegar. While you observe the “masters” at work and the results of their efforts, you will develop a deep appreciation for our products and their tradition.

We loved this tour to the cheese and Parma ham tour. It was really interesting and fun. We loved Elisa. She was very knowledgeable! We dont often do tours like this but it was well worth it. I highly recommend the private tour if you can. You will be able to see everything up close without a group. The company was eell organized and promp with everything.

Sylvia, our fantastic, passionate amd professional guide, was already on the lookout for us when we arrived at the meeting point 10 minutes early.. We greatly appreciated the courtesy of the small family owned parmesan cheese workshop as well as the hospitality of larger scale Conti family owned proscuito production facility. Sylvia, who is very fluent in English, gave a well organized tour with concise explanations of each step of the production process and responded to all questions with precise explanations. She also conveyed the passion she has for good food and pride in the local production of the reggiano cheese and proscitto. She is also very freindly and we were able to get to know her personally and share some good stories and laughter. We are grateful for her committment and felt like we had not only learned a lot about the cheese and ham but left having made a friend.
